Hearthstone Introduces a New Game Mode: Hearthstone Duels

Hearthstone duels is a new competitive mode that follows a dungeon run style of play. Players will pick a hero, hero power & treasure, and build a 15 card deck from your available cards. After every match you will be given the chance to upgrade your deck with new minions, spells, and additional treasures!

Once you have selected your hero, hero power, and treasure you will move onto deck building. For the first season the allowable cards will be a mix from the following sets: Scholomance Academy, Curse of Naxxramas, One Night in Karazhan, along with all Classic and Basic cards. Future seasons will open up deck construction to cards from all the available sets in Hearthstone. Ratings for duels are done in the same manner that Battlegrounds are, your matches end after three losses or 12 wins.

Early Access to Hearthstone Duels can be a received by pre purchasing the Madness at the Darkmoon Faire Mega Bundle at $79.99. On November 12th Hearthstone Duels early access will be available to all players and the Whispers of the Old Gods will be added to the playable card sets.
